Rawson Thurber saw my "Film School" short on Star Wars and Kurosawa. He liked the irreverent Monty Python aspect of it and hired me to do a backstory animation for his upcoming film Red Notice. Rawson has a lot of positive energy in him, is open to collaboration, is a true comedic visionary, and is great at motivating his cast and crew with an infectious mood. None of us knew he would be tested to the limit trying to make an international action film while a pandemic coated the globe.
